Full Shell - ITE

​An ITE is also called a full shell in the ear hearing aid. Because they occupy the bowl of the ear, they are very secure. Also, they can go 4-5 weeks without having to change a battery. This model is appropriate for patients with severe hearing loss. ITE's can be ordered with two microphones per ear. This improves the signal to noise ration, and improves the quality of sound reception in noisy situations.
